On Saturday, April 27th, H.A.N.D., AGE of Central Texas, and Faith in Action Caregivers will host a collaborative fundraising event. This fun day will support aging nan’s and granddad’s services in Austin including home care, adult day care, medical equipment lending, caregiver support and transportation to name just a few.
What's a car boot sale? A car boot sale is an opportunity for individuals and vendors to sell their gently used items, much like a garage sale, only it is all done from the "boot" or trunk of your car. These have been going on for decades in the U.K. and are a great way to bring people together, sell some old rubbish, and raise some pounds for a great cause. Items that are not sold can be donated by the vendors to Goodwill.
